Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Ball was born November 24, 1981. She is an American political commentator. She was previously a candidate for the US Senate, as well as a television presenter for MSNBC. She was a frequent contributor on The Huffington Post and co-host of The Hill’s Rising together with Saagar Enti. Enjeti and Ball announced in May 2021 that they would be leaving the show to start their own project, Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball hosts the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. She has also appeared as a guest on various networks, including CNN, CNBC, Fox News and shows like Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball has been engaged to Jonathan Dariyanani since 2020. Ball is able to attribute her enthusiasm for politics to having the mother of 2008's primary elections. Also, she watched the US election results during her time in Jordan. She was able to see the effect that it had on the people in her country and was inspired to understand the international impact of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow at the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee in Virginia's 1st Congressional District for Congress in 2010, but lost to Rob Wittman, who is the incumbent Republican. From June 2012 to July 2015, she was co-host of The Cycle on MSNBC. In May of 2017, she launched the People's House Project, a political action committee working on behalf of Democratic causes.
